Well, one thing you shouldn't miss whilst wandering around the wealthy champagne street in Epernay is this: a rather delightful custom Volkswagen. I forget which type it is (a 412 or something, is it not?), but back in the day, we had one like it: my parents' first fuel-injected car. Not that that was a good thing...my Dad's refusal to travel anywhere on anything less than a spit of petrol was OK with a car that could be jump-started, but this one didn't like it too much. That said, it didn't reform Dad's filling-up tactics. Eventually, he won and the car went on its way. Still, this one looks far better than our "baby-blue" version ever did.
