Spotty Poppy

Black spots on vivid petals, vermilion and bold:
My floppy spotty poppy is a joy to behold.

I grew these poppies from seed last year. Most got eaten by slugs as soon as I planted them, only one or two survived and flowered last summer. So, imagine my delight when, twelve months later, this one appeared. Must have self-set, I suppose, or be a late starter. (It's only floppy because there is such a strong wind today.)
