Worker ants

We were having a day by the pool. You know: glass of chilled dry white; dish of olives; some of these Anisette tartes things. I dropped a piece, and it disappeared. I looked around and saw it moving across the stones.

This photo may not be the highest resolution image you've ever seen. But remember, these are ants and this piece of tarte is about one inch square. They worked away for half-an-hour, moving this square inch of food off to the bushes.
