Jake's Birthday

One of my two favourite nephews turned 12 today, and it was a pleasure to join him for a birthday tea to celebrate. Here he is blowing out his candles with his Mum.

Megan chose a remote-controlled tarantula to give him as a present - an odd choice for a girl who is terrified of spiders, but since I had no ideas of my own, I bowed to her better judgement.
