Keek!

Today was D's birthday so we went for his choice of birthday jaunt which was a trip to the Isle of May. About a dozen of us (including at least four blippers) congregated at Anstruther harbour to get the boat out to the May and we spent the afternoon ambling around the island in the most glorious sunshine gazing at arctic terns, puffins, razorbills, guillemots, shags, eider ducks, fulmars, etc etc. The island is hoaching with birdlife all over its surface, plus underground (in burrows) and overhead (continual whirring noises as puffins dashed about). It was idyllic. I think DH was a very happy bunny. Speaking of rabbits, there were plenty of them too.

There were also lots of grey seals in the water around the island, and when we were down at the foot of the cliffs this inquisitive fellow kept popping up for a keek at us. (And why not, we were keeking at him!)
