No Man's Land

Back Blip

Fab day - good presentation at Nicosia University despite being late...road sign issues again (see yesterday). Finished at about 3pm and off with the work clothes and on with the 'bloody hot weather we are not working anymore' clothes.

Down to old town to see the Green Line. This blip is of no man's land with buildings abandoned since 1974 when the Turks invaded or liberated depending on whose side you're on. The UN are everywhere as this is still the only divided capital in the world.

They make 'Cyprus' Delight here ...of course.

Back to Larnaca Airport via the beach for a beer.
