I got the bus to the start of Barrier #1 and walked past Graemeshall and along the shore to the Bay of Cornquoy and around Rose Ness. No sign of roses, I wonder if the name if actualy from 'ross' another name for a ness or cape.

Lots of blue sky but lots of cloud too and the sun rarely found a break righ over me. Still, seeing lots of sunny places in the area helps. The sea was perfect for spotting orcas but did I see any? No. I did see some hares. I go looking for whales and get big rabbits!

I continued past the Bay of Semolie, Castle of Claisdie, Point of Bizber and to Dingieshowe, where I caught a bus back to Kirkwall.
