Composition No 342 - Wallace Tower - Parkie Art

Benholms Lodging (locally known as Wallace Tower) was a unique example of a Z-plan tower-house within a Scots town.

The original building was demolished in 1964 to make way for an M&S store.

A replica building, incorporating some of the original stonework and features was erected in Seaton Park in the same year.

Mystery surrounds the male cartoon figure alongside the poodle in the south facing alcove .......................
