#1 Jim?

Today, I asked my first stranger for a portrait. Boy, was I nervous, I don't even know if I remember the name right. I saw Jim working on his little vegetable patch that he rented out to grow things for his own use. He was pretty startled as well but had nothing against me taking a picture or putting it on the Internet.
This is to start the 100 strangers project (thanks jez), I'll try and find new strangers regularly. I'll be working with my 40 year old manual lens and hope to get to know it a bit better. And maybe I'll get better portraits at some time as well. large
