Merde Weather

A stand of Cedar trees blipped in a little spurt of sunshine, shortly before the heavens opened again. (Like all Panoramas, view in large to get full benefit)

In other exciting news... I read today of a phenomenon calledParisian syndrome

This is what some polite Japanese tourists suffer when they discover that Parisians can be rude or the city does not meet their expectations. They travel to Paris expecting high culture and romance and instead have a nervous breakdown. Apparently an average of 12 Japanese a year, have to be medically evacuated back to Japan! The Japanese embassy in Paris even has a 24 hour help line.

Personally I love Paris, and the rest of France. It is the cultural differences between countries, regions and areas which make travel so fun and interesting.

However, I did wonder if any British city or area should have a health warning and/or a 24 hour helpline for the unsuspecting visitor?

Maybe Stratford-on-Avon ?!?!?!? ;-)

EDIT: The shot was taken using 2 filters, a Hoya 80B to warm everything, and a graduated filter to emphasize the already dramatic clouds. Processing lightened the centre of the sky and saturated the corners.
