wander, stumble, wonder

Shipwrecked and comatose

You know those exams where you study until your eyes pop and your brain screams 'no more!', then you sit down, turn over the paper and wonder just how there are so many things you still don't know? Yeah. THOSE exams. Ugh. But it's over, and hopefully the bell curve will get me through. Which means, cruelly, hoping that other people did worse than me and fail. Not sure what to hope when I think about it that way. Nothing I can do now, just have to wait until result come, and pray I've passed.

But a bad exam on an off day (scrambled out of the house to the exam, ran late for being the taxi service, discovered nowhere stocks Crumpler bags in Hobart anymore) is made much more bearable when followed by an evening of umm 'Bible' study, filled with pizza, jacket potatoes and cosy cosy apple crumble, while watching Red Dwarf. Hey, God got a day off, I'm sure he won't mind if we spend time bonding and relaxing. :D Pouring with rain, had the wipers on full speed coming home, so now it's time to go to bed, and escape to Fourecks with Rincewind, the Luggage and Scrappy. (Terry Pratchett, The Last Continent, as featured on Sunday).
