Bishopbriggs Library

Not many sunny spells today but this was taken during one of them. It was just where I happened to be passing at the time and I have always liked the look of the building.

It was built in 1897 to mark Queen Victoria's Jubilee. Originally a school it suffered some damage from bombs during the Clydebank Blitz. It was later converted to a library and was most recently refurbished in 2003.
