I get paid for this!

I was over at the school allotment with my wee gardeners this afternoon for a spot of weeding in the rain when we spotted these lupins in full bloom. This was only half of them. There was another huge clump of blooms just to the left of this. These were all the same colour though -a rather delicate yellow and pink - not colours I would really think to put together, but as today showed, nature knows best!

This shot was the most striking according to my 8 year old critics so this is the one I'm sharing. By 4pm the weeding was completed, the crops doing well and 6 of us were very soggy, very grubby and very happy.
