Carnage via hailstorm

So here i was sitting in my own little room at work listening to the radio and working away when the heavens opened with a pretty violent hail/thunder/lightning storm. Captured a few pics, counted the seconds in-between lightning and thunder (3seconds so 1km) and then everything was interrupted as a serious leak was coming in on part of our flat roof through the light fittings.

It was all hands on deck as we isolated the lights, placed large buckets under the stream coming out the ceiling, evacuated the IT kit and any important work, investigated the box gutter causing the problem and calling in of the roofers/electricians for tomorrow. It's the only time that i got soaked at work IN the office rather than outside. Ceiling looked ready to fully collapse but as the storm lasted all of 10minutes. It didn't but doubt we will be able to save it as it was pretty water logged.

I'm praying for a dry night (all good so far) to allow for less of a hectic morning tomorrow.

I hate the flat roof we have. Been there close to 18months and this is the 6th problem with leaking I've had to deal with.
