Is it Christmas?

While waiting for the breakfast eggs to poach I snapped our neighbourhood robin. Then it started to snow. It's too wet to lie, which is a pity. I might brave the outside in a moment to buy simnel cake ingredients. If it's too dreich to go out adventuring, I might as well get the baking cap on!
