Band Of Hope

This is what happens when your built-in, precision engineered Fridge door goes Kaputt. A little plastic doohickey fell out and that meant the door wouldn't close. This is not good for fridges and so this was the interim solution. Thank you, giant elastic band, for stopping the milk from turning to poison and keeping all of the other fridge dwellers safe.

There's heehaw else to tell you about today - it has been very quiet. Although, I did get a topical* notification from my online Sprachkurs. It asked me to translate "Eat cucumber - it is healthy". So in the spirit of learning here we go: Esst cucumber - es ist gesund. You job is to get that into a conversation tomorrow.

*For those who don't know, there has been an outbreak of food poisoning in Germany and it was originally blamed on (Spanish) cucumbers. Turns out that that is not necessarily the case - it might have been Bean Sprouts from North Germany. Or not.
