Edward and his son are here on holidays. They got on the wrong bus in the city centre and ended up in Dun Laoghaire. They liked what they saw and got off to have lunch here (a poke of chips each). They are from Edinburgh. They explained to me that back home, you cannot go for a wee wander without having a stranger come up to you, stick a huge DSLR in your face, take your photograph and hand you a "blipcard".
I empathised.
Then took Edward's picture and gave him my blipcard.

He was quite distraught.
