Meanderings Through Life

Devonshire Green, Sheffield

Was in town bright and early this morning in the Division Street/Devonshire Green area.
I love this green area. It used to be a bland, featureless square of grass, students, rubbish and the occasional drug dealer. Oh, and skaters and skateboarders (skate park at one end).
Now it's a great place to sit and chill in the sun, and much quieter than the even more beautiful Peace Gardens in town.

The skate park is still there, hence the quite large round steel balls along the walls. No skating here, chaps!

(Not posted for a few days. Been a bit impecunious. Had to poach batteries out of my camera for other things in the house. All embarrassing!)
