Bunting

It's that time of year. The local gala day. When people get dressed up, there's a procession of floats, a bouncy castle, one of the kiddies is crowned gala queen.

Then the local bampots get messed up (ie; pissed), fight in the street and sing songs on the way home. Right past my house.

I'm sure Miss42 will enjoy gala day when she's a bit older. But for now, Saturday is a night to pray for rain and shut the gates...
