Turf wars......

.....two rival gangs of starlings having a bit of a dust-up over the last scraps of food in the bird feeders in a garden down the road (what you can't see is the 50 or so strong squawking audience on neighbouring fences).....I know they were rival gangs because two distinct flocks flew off in opposite directions when I walked past......and of course the tats were a dead giveaway.......

Not exactly National Geographic wildlife photography standard.........
