A Very English Game

Busy morning today and I'm doing a lot of procrastinating because coursework deadline was yesterday and I can't face opening my e-mail to see how many pieces of work have come in! Plus the pile on the carpet here hasn't moved apart from when the cat has used them as a launch pad to reach the windowsill.

So I posted my entry for the Countryfile Calendar in the Birds category. It won't do anything but it's exciting to be part of it. After popping in to the garden centre for a room freshener (guests this week!) I spotted the village cricket team getting ready for a match and was reminded once more of what a lovely place we live in. Now I suppose I'd better open my e-mail. Happy Weekend everyone!
