Today's pic shows Niamh and Mary working hard on a programme to be delivered for teacher in-service in Malawi during July and August.
Niamh came to Malawi last Summer, where she was a legend and immediately saw a huge need for teachar training.
This year she has convinced a group of her teaching colleagues to join her in a more structured approach, involving the District Education manager Anna Shichinga
They will work with a number(about six) Primary Schools, where other teachers will come to be involved.
It is envisaged that these teachers will go back to their own schools and pass on what they have learned. We are hoping that this will be the start of a permanent
co operative link.
Niamh is the real driving force behind this and is an amazing young woman.
