In The Occupied Territory

Once in a lifetime

Once in a lifetime a businessman may offer a town or an area a huge business investment. it could be a football club getting a few million quid to spend on players ( didn't do Dundee very much good though did it? Twice.), or, like here Donald Trump choosing our part of the world to build a golf resort.
Now I hate golf, and I am certainly not a fan of the man with the awful hairstyle, but I certainly, also, am not in the slightest bit convinced by the small band of people who come up with many spurious arguments against the plans.
The people who live in the area concerned have won the right not to have their houses taken away from then under a compulsory purchase order, and that is good; but Mr Trump should be told to go to hell, if he objects to a wind farm being built off the coast from where his links course will be.
We welcome your investment, but not your high-handed attitude.
This is a picture of a works' sign leading to his land. he rest of the image is just the accidental reflection via my windscreen of my in-car DAB radio.
I wanted to get a photograph of his beautiful house, but there is now a gate up across the driveway restricting access.
