Cream crackered

Well that's it done: 26.2 miles covered in 6hrs and 30 mins

Fabulous night of walking, talking, and taking part in a mass demonstration of people wanting to do the 'right thing'.

This is us passing the 20 mile marker on Portobello prom - the last time I had
a/ the energy to smile
b/ the thought that it was OK to ask a stranger to stop and click the camera

Everything became a bit emotional near the end, and I burst into tears when we passed a middle age lady who was standing in the street thanking every individual who passsed because her life had been prolonged by ten years after receiving top care at the Edinburgh breast cancer centre.

I cried at the end too - but that was exhaustion!
