Some cycling lessons I learnt today.
1. Wear your glasses, despite how ridiculous you might look in them. There's no telling when a kamikaze insect may decide to target your eye, especially when cycling through wooded areas.
2. Make sure your bicycle is leaning against something solid. Better still look for a proper bicycle stand. Goes double if you are close to a canal.
3. Daytrips are not a race. Don't get agitated over being overtaken, stick to your cadence.
