Forza Vale!

I make no apologies for blipping Valentino Rossi twice this weekend. Yesterday's had a shadow and today's has a reflection.

Silverstone was wet today, very wet. We sat in the grandstand at Club, the final corner of the lap and had lots of action in front of us through the course of the three races. Good fun.

What a shame the fabulously entertaining Marco Simoncelli dropped it, but it gave the equally brilliant Colin Edwards a chance to get on the podium... and riding injured after smashing his collar bone last weekend. For the record, Valentino had a disappointing weekend - finishing 6th, which was better than expected after a poor qualifying.

Best result of the weekend goes to Britain's Bradley Smith in the Moto2 race. Lovely Brad-er-leeeee also had a nightmare qualifying session yesterday, starting 28th on the grid, but he had a blinder of a race ultimately finishing 2nd. His best result in this class to date. Superb! Silverstone went wild!
