I say Tomato

Actually I'd now say "die Tomaten" for these. These are the first of the crop from the terrace and they are wonderfully sweet. I expect I shall be eating a lot of salad this summer and I'm looking forward to it.

Today is a holiday here in Germany - Pfingsten in German and Pentecost in English (or Whitsun if you'd prefer). Another one of those days I am ignorant about - as I am on so many religious matters. It's probably better that it stays that way - my opinion is like my arsehole, you know I've got one but you don't really need to hear it.

Apologies if I made you choke on your tea. I think it's a funny line - I'm sure you can use it.
