NYC Postcard#6

Last day! Doing all things that we just have to do before leaving! Some went shopping for gifts in different directions! Some wanted to see more of certain areas! A and I went for Greenwich Village! Among else to the Record store again at Bleecker Street for some record and poster gifts. Robin with the Stockholmians (sister with son) joined us for lunch at a Risotteria (where I had a nice "bread cigar"!). Anna was caught with some street Do Whoop singers and had to join them in a few dance steps (which embarrassed her a little), and also to buy their record! In the evening me and sis´went for some live city blues at the Terra Blues club in Greenwich!

It´s amazing what you can manage in six days! Although experiences of course must be quite shallow, we all feel love for NYC, the big apple with its many faces, not all happy though! Many homeless is seen on the streets and we all know the impact of the extreme individualism and capitalism that you smell around Time Square and the finance district! Yet the everyday people on the streets radiates openness, friendliness and there is so much creativity in the NYC air. So we´ll be back for sure!
