Blankets of Love

Maisy & I took time out to go to a needlework open day which was run by a friend of ours..
Maisy has started patchworking and knitting and our friend asked us along and wanted me to take some images of what they do..
The members were so friendly and the atmosphere a cocoon of peace and tranquillity. and there was lots to see and try
patchworking in all its shapes and forms to more complicated needlework and tapestry
I took several images and this one was not the best photographically but meant the most.
These 'Blankets of Love' are donated by these ladies to the hospital where they are used to wrap still born babies or premature babies that do not survive. The mothers are given the blankets which have wrapped their babies as something to hold on to and remember them by...
