Out Of Time?

When my Gran died the one possession of hers I asked for was this Polar Bear, something she had picked up on one of her travels. I remember it well as Pipaluk was in the news as the biggest celebrity in London Zoo.

Things haven't improved much for Polar Bears over the last 40 years and the threat of climate change is still very real.

I'm heading to Svalbard today and hope to see plenty of bears with well fed cubs. Last years looked a little skinny, as if they weren't getting enough to eat. I wonder how many survived.
