What is the Problem with Scottish Men?

The best bits of Gerry Hassan's feature for Radio Scotland on the crisis of Scottish masculinity were the personal, autobiographical bits, where he and family friend Aunt Betty talked of his parents and Gerry's childhood in Dundee. He lived at the top of a high-rise and could look miles out to sea, and observe the approach of advancing rain-clouds.

Perversely, I feel like answering it with a contrasting claustrophobic shot, revealing what my son might see, if he stood on a stool to help with the washing up and half-turned towards his bedroom.
