With work and family stuff, no energy or opportunity to be out looking for pretty things. Therefore house-based blip again.

Girl's homework book, she had a word test at school today and did very well.

The pen is one she made on Saturday, from a kit she got on her adventure day. She loves making things, and we try to encourage her as much as possible, even though our lounge carpet still has coloured, sandy patches from the kit. I think our dyson needs a bit of care. Reminds me, when it went dodgy several years back we took it to a dyson specialist, who told me straight faced that it was clogged, because It'd sucked up dust, which they're not made to do... Five minutes later I had all sorts of witty ripostes, but at the moment I needed them, I was simply stunned into silence.
