Why??

Well today I've bought 2 new pairs of glasses (well bought 1 & got 1 free) from Specsavers and whilst she was checking the distance between my eyes I saw what my glasses were called.

One pair is called Tina & the other pair Carlotta.

Now I've nothing against those names but why call some glasses frames that, what makes you look at a frame and think Tina.

It got me to thinking about the silly names that are given to things ie my ford is a Tango Red or as I would describe it - metallic orange!!
