Hooking Up

The paving company is so well organized that they had their barge clear of asphalt and were casting off by 16:30 so that the crew had time to make the puck-drop at 17:00. This is Game 7 (the last and deciding) in the Stanley Cup finals. Boston (US) is playing our local Vancouver team.

Here one of the workers is preparing to have the ramp lifted so that the empty barge can be towed back to Vancouver for another load tomorrow morning.
