A Canterbury Tail

To Avoid Rock Snot

Tonights task was to clean all our kayaking gear after the weekend. New Zealand is very protective of its biodiversity, and currently the South Islands rivers are under attack by an alga called Didymo (or Rock Snot). Most of the places that Barking and I kayak are Didymo free, and by washing our gear with soapy water we hope to help keep them that way.

Definitely desperate for a blip when washing down gear becomes the subject.
