Is there life on Mars?

Well the jury is still out. But there is definitely life on the bark of this plane tree so prolific in our cities, this one in Bristol.

Just in case it isn't obvious I though the bark ...was like the surface of a....planet....and Life on Mars, for overseas blippers, is a UK TV series which I have no doubt is seen in other countries...... .
