Rodents rule

Lions with wings

I spotted this beast flying through Kings Cross with a twin companion. They hold up the doorway of the Travelodge - a bit grand for a chain hotel, but hey ho. That's the great thing about London - many of the old buildings, even those walked passed every day and not given are second look, have a great deal of history. This lion is on a Grade 2 listed building that was part of residential housing first built in 1767.

The good news is that F's feeling a bit better, and the tooth I cracked over Easter is now in full working order. I can't praise the dentist enough for not hurting me one jot. I'm very pleased, because inwardly I'm terrified of dentists. F's rewarding my bravery with a feast!
