Home sweet home

Yep, the gods smiled, the ash cloud cleared and I am back home. This is a freeloading rainbow lorikeet coming for a feed at my mothers house in Sydney this afternoon. They are terrible rogues who boss all the other freeloading birds (kookaburras, magpies, currawongs etc) around. Their colours are gorgeous. The only thing done to this image was some cropping and sharpening. It was taken with my macro lens on. He let me get quite close....
