It's mine

After last weeks cake baking (which turned out a little flat) we took ourselves to Argos for a little treat.

Swooning over the Kenwood Chef's I decided to make the modest investment of £10 in a mixer with bowl for the 3 year old to use in the hope that we could inject a little air into the occasion. (I did have a very old old hand mixer thing but I think it succumbed to the last of the clear outs.....)

So here they are. Butterfly cakes. Looking a little more cake-like and less pancake-like than last week's wonders.

Me thinks the 3 year old is rather impatient !!
