Pirate Joe

Today was Rohan's big day. Her much anticipated drama performance, in a proper theatre in Peebles.
Despite having the perfect opportunity to be stubborn/take control etc, she actually agreed to and wore the newly revamped and improved pirate costume (after weeks of debate). So we were off to a good start.
I was not prepared for her tiny self coming onto the stage, I was truly unsure that she actually would, but she did. She looked so small. But. She was brilliant. So confident and relaxed and she said her one line ("and lazy too") loud and clear.
We were filled with pride. And a bit teary.
