Criterium race

Today morning did a two hour bike ride to see the criterium race (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criterium) hosted by Oulu city and organized near downtown iat the surroundings of the Raatti stadium.

Some of my friends were volunteers at the organizing committee and helping in some tasks throughout the day so it was easy for me to get access to the actual competition area. Discussed with friends and checked out the expensive piece of tools the pros and even some ordinary folks had - Btw, did not help much to my initiating carbon road bike fewer.. ;)

Anyway during the day several starts were run, in some starts several groups were competed at the same time as the groups separated pretty fast after the start. There were not so many people watching the event, which was a shame as the weather was ok and the track was really nice for the audience to see the pace and exitement etc.
