Bry LOVES his King Dog crown.

The 3rd Annual Corndog Birthday Camp went pretty spectacularly I have to say. All week we'd been glued to the weather reports as though the weather would get warmer and hotter the more we clicked onto the Met Office.

The forecast was...NOT good, to say the least and at one point Bry nearly cancelled the whole thing because of the rain. Fortunately, our friends all said we should at least try 1 night and see how we get on and that's just what we did.

So. GLAD.

What a brilliant weekend. So much laughing and eating and drinking and talking nonsense and generally relishing in the comfortable friendships shared and strengthened across the years. It's a lovely annual trip, every year we see the changes in our children and our friends children based on the year before.

Every year we all work together to make fantastic food and build warm and roaring fires. We all keep an eye on each others kids and share the work of clearing up the campsite and keeping the kids occupied.

Every year we get in our cars at the end of a successful camping weekend happy and snoozy and looking forward to doing it all again next year.

We're very lucky to have such lovely friends.
