We met Sarahs Parents at the Trout inn in Oxfordshire then went to a Garden Centre for the afternoon ????

Now I know we are a bit behind the times in Cornwall but I thought that a garden centre was a place you buy plants and assorted stuff. Clearly up here this is no longer the case and they have become a family day out attraction. We went to look at the pigs, goats, Alpacas etc, we had a coffee in the restaurant, shopped in the farm shop and finally just as they closed ventrured into a shop with plants in.

Back to sanity later though as we went for a walk along the thames canal and ended up at Rushey Lock. The lock keeper has done a fantastic job of making it look smashing and this is his house and garden which includes a topiary Frog, Beetle and Loch ness Monster

Off to Centre parcs tomorrow.
