I went to a favourite beach - inaccessible unless you know how to scramble down so there's never anyone else there. No sound save the lapping of the water and the whistle of the oyster catchers.

But then I turned around and saw these eyes watching me. Friendly eyes, somewhat feline. They did not alarm me.

Faces in stone are nothing new. They have been recognised through the ages. You can see some examples here.
