GS Woodpecker

The second visit ever to my garden by a Great Spotted Woodpecker today! And not only that, this time it was a juvenile that visited! Must give credit to my wonderful wife, Sarah, for capturing this one as I was in work when he/she visited. The funny thing is Sarah was really excited about the visit and getting a photo. 12 months ago she would have called me a "sad git" for getting exited "just about a bird". I think my growing birding obsession is rubbing off on her!!
