Salt pans

All around this area there are large stretches of water producing salt for the roads.
When the water turns pink, the salt is ready for harvesting by tractor, taken to large storage areas and ultimately exported...the land around these salt lakes is quite barren, producing only very hardy vegetation and the odd rabbit
