No Ordinary Doocot!

This was the type of day where I could have captured a thousand images, driving from Balikpapan to Sangatta through Eastern Kalimantan, but the lack of time and camera put paid to that.

I managed to take the time to snap this one as I neared the end of the trip. It's a birds nest farm; the concrete barns with thin access slits mimic the cave like nesting sights of the swiftlets, who then build their nests inside.

Yep, these are the nests built of spit used in birds nest soup.
