I've done a lot of reading since I retired last year about the inner life and about happiness and its unrelatedness to the accumulation of material goods and the importance of being rather than having.

And I'm certainly happy. But, you see, it's my birthday today and the material girl can't help but love this beautiful tote handbag, a gift from my G.M. It's italian patent leathers, lined with silvered italian calf skin and it is just gorgeous!
