Coals to Neu!castle

Jarvises heartily approve of late-night bars with reasonably priced drinks and obliging bar staff. Kptn (aka Kptn. A. Müller) in Freidrichshain, Berlin, certainly had all three qualities in abundance. 7am closing, 2 euro Berliner pilsener, and two cool guys behind the bar who took musical requests. Being in Germany, some German music was appropriate. Despite being German, the bartenders hadn't heard of Neu!, perhaps the greatest exponents of Krautrock ever. But they liked Neu!'s Hallgallo when they heard it. It made a great soundtrack to the sunrise.
