...in Auld Reekie, and find that some of the lilies are in full bloom, just a little earlier than usual, These little blighters usually time their flowering to happen just when we are away for our summer break.

Istanbul and Barcelona were fantastic in their own very different ways, but it was oh so good to get back and sleep in one's own bed last night; and with temperature in the UK forecast to hit 28/9 over the coming weekend it will not feel that much different :))
